Viewing Procedures

Our number one priority is ensuring the complete safety of you, your family and friends now the time is approaching to proceed with physical viewings once again.

Below we have outlined the procedures we are going to follow on every viewing carried out in your home. In addition we will create a personally tailored list of anything further you would like us to implement so you can be rest assured that whilst we are looking to achieve a sale on your property we are also fully protecting you.

  • Anyone showing a property to a potential buyer will have used a hand sanitiser and will be wearing protective vinyl gloves as soon as they enter the property.

  • All staff that show a property will be completely symptom free and will have been for a min of 14 days.

  • We will arrive to the property earlier than normal to allow the property to be prepped for minimal contact, I.e every door to be opened in every room. Any spaces that buyers are likely to look in will be left a jar.

  • Only buyers that have been fully qualified and are in a position to push forward with a purchase/offer will be shown the property. We are always vigilant to ensure we don’t book time-wasters to view but this will be even more prudent at this unique time. Full information about the buyer and ensuring that their requirements and budget do fit the property they are enquiring about goes without saying.

  • Buyer’s with no property to sell will be asked to e-mail either their broker details or agreement in principle prior to the viewing.

  • Buyers with a property to sell that are under offer will have their agent contacted to verify the chain is complete prior to viewing.

  • Any buyer that views the property will be asked to use our hand sanitiser and wear protective vinyl gloves. We do also have a supply of face masks and can request these are worn for the viewing as well, especially if they are from out of area.

  • On the viewing we will open any doors or give access to outside space, storage spaces etc. to insure minimum contact from potential buyers.

  • A maximum number of 2 people from the same household will be agreed prior to viewings commencing. (We expect guidelines around this to be issued)

  • Strict social distancing measures will be in place at all times.

  • We would request vendors do leave the property whilst viewings are being carried out to help with social distancing. This can be to go for a short walk or if thats not possible then we ask that you go into the garden/ outside space. If neither of these are possible we will discuss other options.

  • We will only carry out a maximum of two viewings per day on your property, this will help to protect you, your family those close to you.
